Dr. Mel Gibson runs training and promotional events about comics, graphic novels and manga for libraries, schools and other organisations. She also researches these texts as part of her academic work, along with Children's Literature and Media. She is also engaged with the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning in HE. Comics UK is dedicated to those great institutions, the British Comic and Story Paper dating back from the the late Victorian era through Beano to 2000AD. All questions on British comics and story papers can be answered via the forum and History sections. British comics were an excellent start to literal life which no longer exists. The non-Flash area aims to deliver all the information to W3C AA priority standards.
